- 1965 Mustang Notchback built in Dearborn as a 6 cylinder 3
speed
- Built by Ray Heppenstall in 1966 for Buzz Marcus - In 1966 Buzz Marcus raced at Watkins Glen twice and Reading Road Races once winning all three events and even beat out Bob Tullius' Dodge Dart - George Alderman purchased the car and changed the color from Caspian Blue to British Racing Green with a White Top. - George Alderman's first race was at the Sebring 4 hr International Touring Race where he finished 9th. In a herculean effort George ran the entire race himself when his co-driver Brett Lunger was not able to make the race. - The next race was at Lime Rock Part T/A but mechanical problems took George out of the race. - The last race for the team was the Marlboro Speedway Double 300 T/A where the George Alderman and Mr. Blakenship finished 6th. - In 1968 Alderman sold the Mustang to a friend who street raced the car until the engine blew up. The car was then parked for some 40 years. In January 2009 George Alderman repurchased the car which sat on the original magnesium 5 spoke rims and original SCCA tech stickers still on the roll bar. - The restoration will be a collaborative effort between Alderman Automotive Machine and Christiana Muscle Cars back to it's 1967 T/A season livery.
