Engine Compartment Detailing
One of the more popular jobs which we perform is an Engine Compartment Detail. Some shops will simply hose off the engine and repaint the engine bay. However, we take it SEVERAL steps further!
First we clean all the oil and grease that is on the engine, firewall and undercarriage.
Next we replace the following parts:
Fender bolts, hood to fender bumpers, hood adjustment bumpers, water pump, ignition wires, coil, battery cables, voltage regulator, solenoid, windshield washer bag and hose kit, radiator hoses, belts, hose clamps, antifreeze, engine oil and oil filter, power steering fluid, battery and battery hold down, oil pressure sending unit, fuel pump, alternator harness, engine gauge feed, spark plugs, points, rotor, condenser, fuel filter, air cleaner element, heater hoses, by-pass hose, radiator cap, hood latch bolts, hood hinge bolts, master cylinder cap, shock cap bolts, thermal choke tubes, temperature sending unit, and all decals.
Seems like a lot of parts....well it is. This is a total detail and we can perform as much or as little as you would like. However, if you are going for the WOW factor when you open the hood this job is the thing for you!
The only other step that you could take is to completely pull the engine for a total engine transmission rebuild and upgrade. If you opt for this treatment we will break in your engine on our in house SUPER FLOW Engine Dyno. This way we know exactly how your engine is operating and how much power it is putting out!
